ICBA submitted a letter to the Senate Agriculture Committee on the Senate farm bill, the Agricultural Act of 2026. ICBA strongly supports improvements to USDA guaranteed farm loan programs. However, the bill needs sufficient guardrails and transparency related to Farm Credit System expansion authorities, which are exclusively aimed at broad, non-farm financing.
